Principle of induction furnace

The principle of induction furnace is that the alternating current is rectified into direct current by three-phase bridge rectifier circuit, which becomes a constant direct current source after smoothing by reactor, and then the direct current is inverted into a single-phase medium frequency current with a certain frequency (generally 1000-8000hz) by single-phase inverter. The load consists of an induction coil and a compensation capacitor, which are connected into a parallel resonant circuit.

The electromagnetic field generated by medium frequency current heats the raw materials in the furnace by eddy current. The metal raw materials will produce a large eddy current in the alternating magnetic field due to cutting the magnetic lines of force, and then heat up or even melt.
