The basic purpose of induction furnace heating is to heat the materials to be processed to the required temperature. In order to obtain reliable and high-precision processing results, the outlet temperature of materials must be kept within the allowable deviation range in the whole production process. The control system calculates the required electric power according to the required heating temperature, and then maintains constant power output throughout the production process. The system can maintain the most basic heating demand, but it can not automatically adjust the power according to the changing situation. If the setting parameters are not accurate, the change of material characteristics, the change of population temperature and so on, the final outlet temperature will be affected. In order to meet the requirements of temperature control accuracy, it is necessary to use automatic temperature regulation system. The actual temperature of the heated material is detected by the infrared pyrometer, and the deviation between the actual temperature and the set temperature is sent to the temperature PID regulator, and the required electric power increases or decreases accordingly according to the change of the deviation. The accuracy of the automatic temperature regulation system depends on the accuracy of the temperature detection device. In order to get higher accuracy and avoid system oscillation, the system only corrects the weak temperature deviation signal. Generally, it is less than 5% of the set outlet temperature. If the actual temperature deviation signal is greater than this value, the automatic temperature regulator will be disabled.
